Enzo Duarte Dos Santos (CM, 16, Luxembourg)

My chosen representative for the U17. Chosen as he looks the most developed of the group, Dos Santos was recently brought to Dortmund in January, and he has fit in perfectly. Already called up to the senior Luxembourg team (not yet capped), Dos Santos is a midfielder with a great frame, matched with superb pace and power.

He shows confidence receiving on either foot, even under pressure and in a variety of areas. A powerful carrier who rides challenges maturely. Shows confidence in deeper and more advanced areas. Dos Santos eats up ground well and defends large spaces fairly well while being robust in congestion and often leaving traffic with possession.

He possesses nice passing ideas, but he clearly favours a carry, so it would be nice to see a balance developed, if possible. Great close control and body movement in tight areas, between the lines and around the box. An overall eager progressor and defensive asset with the proper development, Enzo Dos Santos can be a serious game-changer.
